Well well...  The last entry here was 2006.  But I guess no one reads this stuff anymore anyway.  But since I am not very busy at work, I thought I'd kill some time writing here...  Practice my typing skills or something-_-"

I am no officially back in HK for work.  It's great to be back - my friends, my relatives (new babies!!!), the food, the drinks...  everything has been awesome.  Of course, I love the overpriced studio that i rented.  It's good to my own place to chill with my friends.

Was having dinner with a couple of friends last night, and discussed about marriage.  We realized that there are ppl in our age group getting engaged, or even getting married.  And apparently, in China, if you are over 23, it is considered as overaged pregnancy, so you are allowed to take a longer leave...  Anyway, my point being, are we getting so old now?  Is it time to consider finding the "settling down" person?  And if it is, what is it that I should be looking for?

  • Wow, it's been almost 2 months since I have updated.  Which means I have been in Shanghai for 2 months already...  I miss all of you in HK...  Sorry for not seeing all of you last time I went back, my boss was just crazy - I had no free time at all...

But yes, Shanghai has been pretty cool I guess.  The job is great so far...  The people are great, my bosses are really nice...  And the work has been interesting.  The best part is that I have been able to try ALL the nice restaurants in Shanghai on Company expense.  You all know me, food always comes first.  But yes, it's been an interesting time here at Morgan Stanley.  Learnt a lot of new stuff, found out that I actually know nothing and have to learn everything from scratch...  Now I kinda wish they gave me training...  Financial modeling was tougher and more tiring than I expected...  I actually had to sit down for hours to work on the spreadsheets...  So time consuming....

Really miss you ppl in HK and ppl from CMU.  Don't forget to drop me a note if you guys ever visit Shanghai!

  • Now in Hong Kong - Last day in Hong Kong...

How sad - I am actually taking a one way flight to Shanghai...  Won't be back in HK for a pretty long while I am guessing. It's a goodbye to the little responsibility, lack of stress, and carefree life.

Worse yet, medical examination tomorrow.  I HATE needles...  Don't know how I will overcome the fear...

It was good rest that I took... Now I have to return to reality - but it's comforting to know that all my friends will be in Shanghai this summer...

    Goodbye - my HK friends!

  • Now in Beijing...

Seems like I am at a different place every other weekend! HK - US - HK - Beijing - HK - Shanghai...  Flying all over the place, but I guess it's nice to see everyone, before I have to enter the real world...  WORK LIFE!

Nothing much happening in my life right now... Just don't want to start work and play wif all my CMU buddies!  I wish everyone who went to Vegas is here in HK, they we could all live Vegas time... at least kinda~

Anyway, I gained 10lbs in the 2 weeks that I went to the States.  Kinda scary I think, but thank god I am beginning to lose that since I stopped eating fries every nite!

Well, to the people who will be in HK from June 5-11, please give me a call!  My number is 6772 1984.  I wanna see all the friends I can before I have to go to Shanghai - ALONE!  And if you can't see me in HK, you better come visit me in Shanghai~

  • I am bored out of my mind, so Mr. Chan suggested that I updated my Xanga...

I am now in Pittsburgh chilling with all my CMUers.  My schedule each day is as follows:

    1. Wake up for lunch
    2. Go to Nick's house
    3. Wait for MJ legs
    4. Play MJ
    5. Go for dinner
    6. Play MJ
    7. Drink
    8. Cook late nigh snack
    9. Drink
    10. Drive back home and sleep

Not very productive, but I guess it's fun to chill before starting work.  I can't imagine my life working in Shanghai.  I don't think I can imagine myself working for real. Haha~

Graduation is coming up, will be so sad to part with my college life and friends.  From now on, we will all go our seperate ways, I wonder if our friendship will be able to last...
